UTIITSL
UTIITSL does not publish digital photo or signature sizes – only the paper photo size of 4.5 × 3.5 cm on a white background. The Protean limits here are the stricter ones.
How to make a clean signature image
Sign in black ink on plain white paper, in good daylight, and photograph it from straight above so the page fills most of the picture. The tool turns the grey paper white, trims to the ink and centres it at the required size.
Limitations
- Follows the notice named on this page; a newer notification can change the rules – check yours before applying.
- Checks size, file size and format, not whether the photo itself (expression, lighting, how recent) meets the rules.
- Protean’s own pages disagree on the maximum (20 KB vs 50 KB for the photo); the tool uses the stricter limit.
Privacy
Files you choose are read into your browser’s memory and processed on your device; they are not uploaded to a server. Temporary download links are released after use, and the offline cache never stores your documents. More about privacy and limits.
