Photo and signature resizer for exam and application forms
FreeNo uploadNo signupWorks offline
Pick your exam or form and drop your photo, signature, thumb impression or declaration. The tool resizes it to the official pixel size, keeps the file inside the KB range the form accepts, cleans up the paper behind a signature, and shows a pass/fail check against the official rules – all on your device.
How to use Exam Photo & Signature Resizer

- Choose your exam or form and what you are uploading (photo, signature…).
- Choose or drop the image – a scan or a phone photo.
- Click Resize to fit.
- Check the ✓ list against the official rules and download.
Supported formats
- Input: JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF
- Output: JPG
Specs come from the official notices
Every preset uses the figures in the exam’s own notification or the official website, and names the notice it comes from. Where a notice sets no pixel size – NEET, JEE Main and CUET only set a KB range – the tool does not invent one. Specs change with each notification, so check yours before you apply.
Signatures, thumb impressions and declarations
Sign in black ink on plain white paper and take a sharp photo or scan. The tool turns the grey paper white, trims to the ink and centres it at the required size, so the signature is never cut off.
Minimum file sizes
Some forms reject files that are too small – IBPS, RRB and NEET set a minimum in KB. The tool raises the quality first; if a small, clean signature still falls short, it adds a hidden comment to the file to reach the minimum. The picture itself does not change.
Photos with face rules
For passport and visa photos where the head must be a set size (US visa and green card lottery photos, for example), use the Passport Photo Maker, which finds your face and positions it to the official head-size rules.
Limitations
- Specs follow the notices listed for each preset; a newer notification may change them.
- The tool checks size, file size and format – not lighting, expression or how recent a photo is.
- Photos are cropped from the centre (keeping more of the top); use the Passport Photo Maker for face-based framing.
Privacy
Files you choose are read into your browser’s memory and processed on your device; they are not uploaded to a server. Temporary download links are released after use, and the offline cache never stores your documents. More about privacy and limits.
Frequently asked questions
Which exams and forms are included?
India: SSC, UPSC, IBPS, RRB, NEET UG, JEE Main, CUET UG, PAN card (Protean) and UPPSC. United States: visa (DS-160), green card lottery, passport renewal, ACT, LSAT, ERAS and the Texas bar exam. United Kingdom: passport, ETA, TOTUM, CitizenCard, Railcard and Oyster photocards.
Why is there no SSC or RRB photo option?
SSC and RRB no longer accept an uploaded photo: the application takes a live photo with your webcam or phone camera. Only the signature is uploaded.
Does 1 KB mean 1000 or 1024 bytes?
Forms differ, so the tool aims for a file that passes either way: under the maximum counted in 1000-byte KB and over the minimum counted in 1024-byte KB.
My photo was rejected even though the size is right – why?
Forms also check the photo itself: background, face size, glasses, how recent it is. Read the rules listed for your form, and use the Passport Photo Maker for a white background and correct framing.
Are my documents uploaded?
No. Your photo and signature are resized in your browser and never leave your device.
Is it free?
Yes – free with no signup, no watermark and no daily limit. You can process many images at once.
