Edit & annotateFully working
Flatten a PDF form
Flattening merges the visible appearance of every form field into the page and removes the interactive field. Use it before sharing a completed form so values cannot be altered by accident.
How to use Flatten PDF Forms
- Select a filled PDF form.
- Press Flatten.
- Check the reported number of fields flattened.
- Download the flattened PDF.
Supported formats
- Input: PDF with form fields
- Output: PDF
Appearance
Field appearances are regenerated with a standard font before flattening, so text should match what you typed.
Not a security measure
Flattening makes accidental edits harder but is not encryption or tamper-proofing.
Limitations
- Form fields only – comments and other annotations are untouched.
Privacy
Files you choose are read into your browser’s memory and processed on your device; they are not uploaded to a server. Temporary download links are released after use, and the offline cache never stores your documents. More about privacy and limits.
