How to use Favicon Generator

Choose a square logo or image (at least 512×512 works best; SVG is ideal).
Click Generate favicons.
Download the ZIP and upload the files to your website’s root folder.
Paste the HTML snippet into your page’s <head>.

Output: ICO, PNG (16, 32, 180, 192, 512 px)

Non-square images are centre-cropped.

Privacy

Files you choose are read into your browser’s memory and processed on your device; they are not uploaded to a server. Temporary download links are released after use, and the offline cache never stores your documents. More about privacy and limits.

What if my image is not square?

It is centre-cropped to a square. For the best result, start from a square logo.

Are my images uploaded?

No. The conversion runs in your browser using WebAssembly versions of the same codecs desktop apps use. Your photos never leave your device.
