How to use WebP to JPG

WebP to JPG – Convert WebP images to JPG in your browser. Free, no upload.
  1. Choose or drop your WebP images.
  2. Adjust the quality if you like (the default suits most photos).
  3. Click Convert to JPG.
  4. Download each image or all of them as a ZIP.

Supported formats

  • Input: WebP
  • Output: JPG

What is WebP?

WebP is an image format made by Google that websites use because it is smaller than JPG and PNG. When you save an image from a website you often get a .webp file, which some apps, editors and upload forms do not accept. Converting it makes the image usable everywhere.

Transparency

JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent parts of a WebP image are filled with a background colour (white by default). Convert WebP to PNG instead to keep transparency.

Limitations

  • Animated images are converted as a single still frame.
  • Very large images (over 100 megapixels) are refused to protect your device’s memory.

Privacy

Files you choose are read into your browser’s memory and processed on your device; they are not uploaded to a server. Temporary download links are released after use, and the offline cache never stores your documents. More about privacy and limits.
