Why do photos appear sideways?

Phones often save photos unrotated with an orientation flag that some apps ignore. This tool applies the orientation and your rotation to the pixels themselves, so the photo looks right everywhere.

Limitations

Rotation is in 90° steps; for small straightening angles use an editor.

Privacy

Files you choose are read into your browser’s memory and processed on your device; they are not uploaded to a server. Temporary download links are released after use, and the offline cache never stores your documents. More about privacy and limits.

Is rotating lossless?

PNG output is lossless. JPG/WebP are re-encoded at high quality (90%), which is visually identical.

Are my images uploaded?

No. The conversion runs in your browser using WebAssembly versions of the same codecs desktop apps use. Your photos never leave your device.
